Viognier from Sunbury in Victoria.
An eyebrow elevating wine in lots of respects. Biscuity with an aged Semillon fatness by means of the mouth, it smells like an aged Riesling with kerosene and preserved lemon notes. Roasted almonds and cashew nuttiness with a good focus of fruit on the mid-palate leaving a ginger spice end.
It is a bit all over to be sincere.
